Intermediate/ Advanced students

 

Pre-requisite of Beginning Woodturning required. Segmented woodturning incorporates additional elements to woodturning.  Beyond the unique colors and grain patterns within wood, segmenting offers freedom in design.  The artist defines the shape, size and wood combinations.  There is limitless opportunity in creativity and features available beyond that of a single block of wood.  Segmenting offers a broad range of applications; from a simple accent/feature ring, to complex vessels. Wood will be available for purchase on site.

Students will provide their own tools, safety gear, and materials. Your instructor will review tools, materials, and supply needs with you on the first day of class. Estimated costs of tools and materials: $75.00+.
